Our story begins in 1949, when a peasant family living in Castello Tesino decided to build here a rural house with a stable, entirely made up of local wood and stones.
Some years later, a nomadic and rich shepherd, coming from Arina, fell in love with this place and decided to move here and stay here for the rest of his life.
In 2014 it’s our turn: Maso Stella enters into our hearts and just after 2 years it becomes the beauty you can admire today!
Maso Stella was born from the embrace between tradition and innovation, between culture and passion.
It takes inspiration from the ancient mountain hut, centre of the rural life, and it keeps its simplicity and authenticity.
The raw wood and the restored stones are nature’s gifts that here become home!
Here, where nature gave so much to its inhabitants, the sustainability and the respect for the environment are part of our culture! We just used natural wood and local stones: every single material had been worked by our own, to maintain the simplicity and the warmth that just nature can convey. Here you will feel the passion, the respect and the love of people who trusted in this risky business… the Micheli family’s cordiality and his warm welcome will make you feel part of all of this!
